If the Irish can make it to nine wins (which would mean winning the all of their remaining games), Notre Dame would Qualify for a BCS Bowl Game. Since the Orange Bowl has the first choice among at large teams, there's an outstanding shot that an at-large Notre Dame would meet the ACC Champ (Virginia Tech? Florida State? Miami?) in the Orange Bowl. A second chance to meet UND would be a Fiesta Bowl matchup against the Big 10 champ, perhaps Joe Paterno's Penn State club.
